Brand Video

With an unorthodox story, Tygr wanted to educate their audiences about their app and services. After a thorough research and analysis on Tygr's audience and demographics, Surajit Majhi - Graphixstory Pvt Ltd came up with the jungle theme with a native protagonist. This opened the door for them to use nature-based vibrant colors and playful quirky animation to give the audience a feeling of refreshment while watching the video.

The story has two characters mainly- Mogum, the protagonist, and Minana- Mogum's girlfriend. Mogum lives in a tree-house in the woods. He is a late-riser and absent-minded man. In this 50-second video, Surajit Majhi - Graphixstory Pvt Ltd has shown how Tygr's different services have saved Mogum from different awkward situations.

Surajit Majhi - Graphixstory Pvt Ltd used Adobe Photoshop and pencil and paper for storyboarding. Moodboards and illustrations were made in Adobe Illustrator. The project was brought to life using Adobe After Effects completely. Royalty-free SFX and music were used.

The video has a resolution of 1920*1080p Full HD, with a width of 1920 pixels and a height of 1080 pixels.

After finalizing the jungle theme, the team developed the script for storyboarding and voice-over. They then moved on to storyboarding and creating a moodboard to determine the color palettes, styles, and patterns. Next, they worked on the illustrations and character design. The animation phase brought the project to life. Near completion, the team collaborated with Tygr's marketing team to add extra animations to ensure smooth interaction in the video.

This project was started in March 2017 and was finished in May 2017. The video was uploaded to Tygr's official Facebook page in June 2017.

The research for this design primarily focused on the audience and demographics. Tygr's main operational areas are tier-I metro cities in India, targeting tech-savvy busy individuals aged between 20-45. The aim was to give them a feeling of refreshment and inspire them to take action in favor of the brand.

The main challenge for Surajit Majhi - Graphixstory Pvt Ltd was to craft a brand video for Tygr that went beyond the typical explainer style. They needed to showcase all of Tygr's services within a one-minute video, using an unorthodox storyline and vibrant visuals to leverage the power of storytelling and quirky motion. The protagonist, Mogum, smartly uses Tygr to go to his office on time, complete his office work easily with Tygr's logistics app, and take his girlfriend on a romantic long drive in a Tygr Limo on her birthday.

This design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the A' Advertising, Marketing, and Communication Design category in 2018. The Iron A' Design Award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. It is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, and contributing to a better world.
